How to Join
Etiquette Expectations
A Note on Muting
To keep the conversation clear for everyone, participants are placed on mute when they join. When you're ready to speak, unmute yourself, or use the chat feature to ask a question or share a comment — I'll be watching both.
Please Use Your Real Name
So I can recognize and welcome you, and so the conversation stays respectful and accountable for everyone, please join using your real first and last name rather than a nickname or blank display name.
Cameras On, Please
A meet and greet works best when it feels like a real conversation, so I ask that participants keep their video camera on for the duration of the call.
Respectful Dialogue
Questions, concerns, and disagreement are always welcome — please keep the conversation respectful toward me and toward every other participant on the call.
Participants who do not adhere to these expectations may be removed from the Zoom meeting.
Schedule Updates
I want to be upfront about a couple of known changes to the regular Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday schedule.
Any other scheduling differences will be noted here as soon as they're known.
Prefer a One-on-One Conversation?
If a group video call isn't your preference, I'd still love to hear from you. Reach out by email and we'll find a time to talk by phone or in person — I want to talk with voters in a way that's convenient, accessible, and respects your time.
