Member, WA State Bar Association Character & Fitness Board
Served as a non-attorney community member of the Washington State Bar Association's Character and Fitness Board (2022–2025). The Board conducts hearings on questions of character and fitness involving attorney applicants for admission to practice law or petitioners seeking reinstatement after disbarment, and prepares findings and recommendations for consideration by the Washington Supreme Court.

Lori did not come to the Auditor's office without preparation. Her career before 2019 included formal academic training, elected community service, and years of firsthand engagement with the institutions she now leads.

Co-Founder and Director, Columbia Virtual Academy (CVA)
Co-founded, built, led, and advocated for Columbia Virtual Academy — one of Washington's largest online school choice programs. Advocacy included direct engagement with the state legislature, the Office of the Superintendent of Public Instruction, and the State Board of Education in defense of parents' right to choose the kind of education that best serves their children. A decade of organizational leadership, policy development, and statewide civic engagement.
Stevens County Republican Party Leadership
Served in a leadership role within the Stevens County Republican Party — building relationships across the county, deepening her knowledge of local civic life, and putting the principles of responsible, accountable governance into practice.
